A Fun-Filled Festival for all the Family
Age recommendation: For all the family
VENUE: Imperial War Museum, London
Dates: Sunday 25 October - Monday 26 October 2026. 10am - 6pm
Join us at IWM London this October for a free-to-attend family festival celebrating the art of storytelling. A Line Art have created a giant colouring wall as part of the festival. Perfect for all the family to watch and get involved in the ongoing evolving art.
Your family can discover the power of stories through free drop-in activities, or purchase tickets to talks with bestselling children's authors like Dame Jaqueline Wilson and Tom Palmer.
Take part in free illustration workshops with Will Hughes and learn how to turn your imagination into drawings.
Younger visitors can take part in free Play and Sing sessions, or your family can book a guided tour of IWM's Galleries, discovering the incredible stories behind the objects on display.
In its debut year, the festival's themes are inspired by IWM’s major exhibition, Childhood in War (open until 28 February 2027), the UK’s first exhibition dedicated to the impact of conflict on young people from the First World War to today.
