Join us for an ocean-themed interactive family experience!

Ready Steady Sail! is a live creative art adventure which invites you to individually design and customise your own cardboard boat, inspired by the rich collection of ships at the National Maritime Museum.

Climb inside your personalised painted ship and set sail across our new Ocean Map. Discover the secrets of the deep through an interactive walkabout performance, before sailing your unique boat home.

There will be four sessions on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July, taking place at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.45pm and 3.15pm. Sessions will run for approximately 30 minutes each. You must book a ticket.

The sessions are suitable for ages 3+, due to the size of the boats. 

Participants will play with crayons, pens, paint pads and rollers... so it's better not to wear your best clothes!
